Syvilla – the cottage at Syväniemi on the shore of Lake Kovesjärvi in southern Finland − offers great opportunities for leisure and provides a lovely setting for small-scale festivities and corporate events.

Nature and recreation services

We can arrange guided tours to places of natural interest and culture in the surrounding countryside for groups of two to four people. Places of interest are, for instance, Alkkianvuori, the Forestry and Automobile Museums of Parkano, the Kaidatvedet nature trails, the Peat Museum of Aitoneva, Hämeenkangas and Pohjankangas, and the national parks of Seitseminen and Kauhaneva-Puhjankangas.

A rowing boat and life jackets are provided for the use of guests.  Fishing rods are available, too, including rods for fly fishing, as well as ice fishing equipment in the winter. All the guests who wish to fish need to purchase a fishing licence, which can be purchased on site.

A guide to Everyman’s Rights in the wild can be found on www.ymparisto.fi/jokamiehenoikeudet.
